We want to send you to spend two weeks in Japan for the experience of your life -- and film it all ! Do you have what it takes to join us in discovering the mysterious but tremendously fun culture, food, geography and people of Japan in YesJapan style? YesJapan.com is now taking applications for our new reality TV show being filmed in Japan next year.

Submission Guidelines

In the participation agreement you would be asked sign to agree that:

1. You must be at least 18 years old
2. You must NEVER have been to Japan
3. You must be willing to be filmed and not be too shy
4. You must be outgoing and open to new experiences
5. You must be willing to try new foods
6. You have to be willing to give up some privacy
7. You will need to be in Japan for 2 weeks
8. You must be willing to attempt to speak Japanese
9. You must speak English fairly fluently
10. You must live in Canada or The United States
11. You must be energetic and in good health *
12. You must not have any felony convictions

* There will be a lot of travel through the streets and public areas of Japan where elevators or escalators do not exist (the majority of Japan does not mandate these accommodations).

Notifications

1. The show might be released as a normal YesJapan show, OR released as a DVD series OR appear on cable TV.
2. There is no prize money, and the show is not a contest.
3. The ONLY benefit you get is going to Japan, all expenses paid.
4. Spending money MAY OR MAY NOT be provided.
5. Those chosen will be notified of schedule requirements as soon as the show reaches the final development phase.

If You Are Chosen

If you are chosen to participate in the "2 weeks in Japan" show idea you must submit to a criminal background check by licensed investigative firm.

Any information obtained during these processes will only be kept on record if you actually go to Japan for the show. The data will NOT be shared with any other group unless required by law.

How do I Audition?

The video must be submitted on CD, DVD, VHS or MiniDV tape. It should be a standard viewable format, and can not be longer than 5 minutes long. You can do anything you want on your submission. Talk, dance, or be wacky -- it is up to you. Show us who you are and why you think we should choose you.

ALL SUBMISSIONS become the property of YesJapan Corporation and MAY BE AIRED on TV or be part of a DVD collection, or distributed on other media.
